We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Senior Technician to join our dynamic FSE Technical Operations team, which strives to provide a sector leading technical support for our students and staff. The purpose of this role is:
To work as a senior member of a team of technicians that provides specialist technical advice, support and assistance across all teaching spaces in the Department of Materials.
To support colouration activities in the use of screen printing and fabric dying.
To support the Technical Teaching Specialist in the management, planning, maintenance of equipment, and materials for practical classes.
In conjunction with the Teaching Technical Specialist and other Senior Technicians, plan and implement strategies to deliver a world class teaching laboratories.
To ensure that the laboratories are maintained to a clean and tidy work standard in line with H&S guidelines.
