We’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Technician to join our vibrant Technical Operations team, dedicated to delivering sector-leading support across the Faculty and the wider University. With a strong focus on customer service and a passion for science and engineering, you’ll provide flexible technical support to staff and students across teaching, research, and professional services. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the world-class research and teaching environment at Manchester and help maintain our reputation for technical excellence.
Due to the nature of the funding, KTP Associates who have already completed a KTP are not eligible to apply.
As this role involves research at a postgraduate level, applicants who are not an EEA national or a national of an exempt country and who will require sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route of the UK Visas and Immigration’s (UKVI) Points Based System in order to take up the role, will be required to apply for an Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS) Certificate and will need to obtain this prior to making any official visa application UKVI)
