Midlands Innovation and MI Talent, in partnership with the Technician Commitment and the Science Council hosted the 2023 Higher Education Technicians Summit.
A sold out event, hosted at the University of Warwick, that celebrated technical staff from across the country. The team at NTDC and HEaTED were pleased to be able to join HE and research technicians across the network at what was a fantastic day.
It was grea to see the work of technicians in the network, including the image below of art work by Joanna Scamp at University of Kent.
Technical staff were celebrated with the prestigious Papin Prize awards at the event. Papin Prizes celebrate the excellence of technicians in their work and practice. This year's prizes reached an impressive 357 nominations, with representation of 67 higher education and research institutions.
