Happy National Apprenticeship Week! It’s been brilliant to see higher education institutions (HEIs) and employers celebrate the efforts of their apprentices. The brilliant Technical Services team at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) have been showcasing their apprentices on Twitter this week – take a look at the videos below.
Arber was a Level 3 Creative Venue Technician Apprentice, who has now secured a full-time position as an Assistant Technical Officer at MMU!
Aimee is a Level 3 Food Technologist apprentice and spends her time working on a range of projects, explained in her video below.
Lizzie is a Level 3 Apprentice in Makers. She filmed her own video to give you an insight into her life as an apprentice! Following her apprenticeship, Lizzie has secured a full-time position at MMU as an Assistant Technical Officer in Engineering.
Mikael is one of our new Level 3 apprentices working as part of the fashion technical team. With the aim of becoming a seamstress or tailoress after her apprenticeship, Mikael spends her time working as a garment making apprentice at MMU. Find out what her day-to-day is like in the video below.
