NEW PATHWAY LAUNCH: NTDC National Education Technical Professional (ETP) Pathway
20 January 2022
Every year the IOP Awards celebrate excellence in physics. They celebrate all aspects of physics, from pure research to the work of teachers, apprentices, technicians as well as those working in business and industry. They celebrate people at all stages of their careers and in all parts of the UK, Ireland and internationally.
The IOP needs your help to reach those who might not otherwise hear about the awards.
You can help by:
Encouraging others to go to iop.org/awards to consider whether there is someone they could nominate - including themselves.
Using our social media posts and image on your own social networks.
Sharing information on the awards in your own newsletters, intranet or other relevant communications channels.
The IOP welcomes nominations that reflect the diversity of communities across the UK and Ireland and particularly encourages nominations from women, Black, Asian and minority ethnic people, disabled people, LGBT+ individuals and people from disadvantaged backgrounds, as they are currently under-represented in the physics community. Nominees do not have to be members of the IOP.
Are you or someone you know making an outstanding contribution to physics? From outstanding researchers and innovators to educators, outreach and engagement enthusiasts, businesses and industry experts, apprentices, technicians - the IOP Awards want to celebrate excellence! Nominate yourself or someone else for the 2022 IOP Awards today.
Nominations close at midday on 14 February 2022.
