NTDC Professional Membership Fund

This round will fund:

• Professional membership fees for technical staff at any career level

• Membership with a licensed professional body

• Both:

  • New memberships, and

  • Continuing memberships

If you have previously been, or are currently, a member of a professional body, you are still eligible to apply.

If you are unsure whether your chosen awarding body is licensed or eligible, please contact us before applying and we will be happy to advise.

Please note that applying for this funding is separate from applying for professional membership. Your professional membership application must be submitted directly to the licensed body. This funding covers professional membership, not professional registration.

Payment options

We can support membership fees in the following ways:

• We can pay the membership fee directly on your behalf, or

• We can reimburse you if you have already paid and can provide a receipt

We can also fund memberships retrospectively:

• Retrospective payments can be made for memberships starting from 1st May 2026 , provided a receipt is supplied.

• We will fund memberships beginning up to 1st December 2026.

Who can apply?

You must:

• Be a member of technical staff at a partner affiliate organisation

• Be applying for membership with a licensed professional body

• Be seeking support for professional development through professional membership

Technical staff at all levels and stages of their career are encouraged to apply.

What information will the application form ask for?

The application form will request the following details:

• Name

• Email address

• Job role

• Institution

• Number of years in your current role

• Current professional membership status

  • Is this your first year of membership or a continuation?

• Date your membership will begin (or did begin)
