“International Women’s Day (IWD) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. Significant activity is witnessed worldwide as groups come together to celebrate women’s achievements or rally for women’s equality.”
We want to celebrate the work and successes of women in technical services every day. Below we share a handful of the many successes of and opportunities for women within our network.

This is an MI Talent national programme, open to technical staff from any discipline who identify as women.
This dedicated career development opportunity aims to address the lack of women in technical leadership positions across the sector.
Encouraging girls to consider STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts and Mathematics ) as a career, the Institute of Science and Technology (IST) are collecting a number of posters to make them available to teachers of schools, colleges or universities or companies if they wish, to promote IST and careers for women in STEAM.
